Renaud Consulting is thrilled to announce the addition of James O’Neill and Andrew Poncher to the RC Broker Team.  Both gentlemen are highly skilled in their brokerage craft and bring much experience and skill sets that will continue to assure that RC is amongst the class of top-tier brokerage firms in the Washington DC Metro Area (and beyond).

James O’Neill

Mr. O’Neill is a seasoned veteran of our RC Marketing Team, specializing in retail leasing and sales.  With  over 35 years of experience in the real estate industry, James knows what it takes to close a deal, and knows the trade areas (throughout the Mid-Atlantic region) in which to make deals happen.  James’ experience is invaluable and his leadership and mentorship add significant value and capability to the RC Marketing Team.

Prior to joining Renaud Consulting, Mr. O’Neill served as Senior Vice President at Lincoln Property Company and was responsible for all retail activity in the Washington DC Metro Area, including landlord representation and tenant representation.  Mr. O’Neill also founded JT O’Neill Company and was a top producer as a broker at KLNB, Trammell Crow, Scheer Partners and Smithy Braedon.  James represents landlords and many tenants, including National and International Brands and Companies.

Mr. O’Neill is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), the Retail Brokers Network and is licensed as a broker to sell and lease commercial real estate in Maryland, Virginia and the District of Columbia.

Andrew Poncher

Mr. Poncher enjoys 15+ years of experience in the retail real estate industry and is extremely dedicated to his craft. Known for his meticulous approach, Andrew formulates marketing solutions by integrating and analyzing location intelligence data, client proprietary information and market analytics to create custom-tailored strategies for client success.

In Downtown DC, Andrew has been instrumental in leasing over 750,000 square feet of core retail space. His efforts extend to supporting local retailers’ expansion, such as Baked and Wired, All Purpose, Tiger Fork/Calico, and Buffalo and Bergen, while also attracting noteworthy out-of-market brands like The Smith (NYC), HipCityVeg (Philly), and Prenuvo to the region.

Mr. Poncher collaborates with a diverse range of clients, from local developer groups like Jair Lynch, Four Points and Douglas Development to institutional entities such as Metlife, Toll Brothers and Brookfield. As Senior Vice President at Renaud Consulting, his focus remains on driving growth and innovation in the Washington Metro Area.

Andrew holds a Bachelor’s Degree in International Business Management from the European Business School of London. Through his steadfast dedication and strategic approach, Andrew continues to shape the retail landscape of Washington DC, delivering custom-tailored solutions that benefit both clients and the community.
