Renaud Consulting is a full service commercial real estate company comprised of seasoned professionals with specific areas of expertise, who together as a team, provide clients with advice and counsel designed to achieve their goals. We serve all types of clients in the commercial real estate industry, including landlords, tenants, buyers, sellers, developers and borrowers.
For property owners, we take a “holistic approach” designed to assist the client in developing a strategy to enhance the performance of their real estate holdings and maximize returns. This approach begins with a strategic planning perspective, whereby our team "disaggregates" the property into its service components (e.g., leasing, property management, development, construction, disposition, financing and legal). Then, we analyze each component to identify the property's needs and the ownership's goals. Lastly, we "reassemble" the components by developing a comprehensive strategic plan for the property.
For tenants, we not only use our market knowledge to assist them in identifying, analyzing, and procuring the best sites to locate their stores or offices, but we also use our extensive negotiating skill sets to get them the best possible economic terms, together with non-monetary protections (such as exclusives, co-tenancies and guaranty limitations) that enhance the value of their tenancies.

Renaud Consulting was founded in May of 2008 by Henry M. Renaud. Henry’s prior legal experience as a practicing real estate attorney working for Hazel & Thomas and Holland & Knight, together with his prior business experience as a leasing director and acquisition/disposition specialist as First Washington Realty, provided him with the right skill sets and temperment to start a real estate brokerage company during a strong economic downturn.
With landlords frustrated by higher vacancy rates and lower returns during the economic downturn of 2008, RC presented these landlords with new hope and a fresh perspective on leasing their vacancies, and so the company quickly gained landlord clients through exclusive listings to lease retail real estate (mostly grocery store anchored neighborhood shopping centers).
During our founding year, RC welcomed Marty Flax to the RC team. Marty and Henry worked together at First Washington Realty for 12 years in leasing, buying and selling retail real estate throughout the United States, so Henry trusted Marty to form the first building block of a new company. From our founding and still today, RC’s strength is in the quality and character of its people, and the reputation of our team is unmatched in our industry.
Since 2008, RC has grown consistently every year, both in terms of client portfolio size and the size of the RC team. While RC began with a focus on retail real estate and landlord representation, RC now handles all forms of commercial real estate (i.e., retail, office, industrial and vacant land) and provides a full range of related services (i.e., brokerage services for leasing and sales, property management services, development and construction management services, capital procurement services and consulting services).
