Alan Tan
Senior Vice President
Alan Tan is responsible for commercial leasing and sales at Renaud Consulting, specializing in tenant representation of Asian food restaurateurs in search of dynamic locations for their restaurants. These tenants include Chinese restaurants, hot pots, Korean BBQ, Bubble Tea and Asian supermarkets. Alan is also responsible for the nationwide master brokerage for Moge Tee, a global fruit tea franchise growing in major markets throughout the United States.
Currently, Mr. Tan serves as the President of the Asian Restaurant Association in Metro DC. Alan also received the Best Asian Restaurant Operator Award from City Paper, Gazette, and Washington Magazines. In 2019, he was given the Excellent Commercial Real Estate Award from the Chinese Real Estate Association in the DC metro area.
Alan graduated from SUNY Stony Brook, NY with a BS degree in Electrical Engineering. He held the title of Senior Vice President for investment banking with Morgan Stanley Smith Barney in New York City.
Alan is a member of The International Council of Shopping Centers. While in NYC, Mr. Tan served as the youngest president of the INTERNATIONAL Lions Club. Alan also served as a member of the board of directors of Vis Arts, the largest art center In the Rockville, MD area.
